I’m Lynne Jones and I design and develop websites for small businesses, councils, local communities and the voluntary sector.
I take pride in supporting clients throughout the design and development process and beyond so that you learn the skills to keep your website fresh and promote your business or organisation online.
I use WordPress which makes it easy for you to update your website (but provide an updating service if you would rather leave that side of things to me). I’m also happy to explore other options.
Based in North Wales I have extensive experience of creating bilingual websites and can also arrange a quality translation service.
Lynne, at Colony of Ants, had an instant understanding of our requirements; which was to provide a very visual colourful site that would appeal to all Artists and Crafters. Our organisation, Flintshire Visual Arts and Crafts Network, is thrilled with the end result, as it has attracted lots of new members to our Network.
The training we received on the on-going management of the site was also excellent, as is the continuing help and support. I would recommend Colony of Ants to anyone interested in developing their own web site.
Wendy Proctor, Secretary Flintshire Visual Arts and Crafts Network
I would not hesitate to recommend Lynne and Colony of Ants, we worked well together and created a site which surpassed the expectations of our community. The site looks very professional whilst maintaining the ethos of our village. The site is also very manageable for an website ‘novice’ going forward. I would happily work with Lynne and Colony of Ants Web Design for any future projects.
Gill Short Treuddyn Community Council
With her professional information background in community librarianship and the long term joint working with us here in the Voluntary Sector, she is the ideal web developer for us! She understands the role of voluntary and community groups, has a creative flair and a wide knowledge of the trends in both web design and use.
